| Abstract: |
| The impurity ions of iron, thorium and rare-earth in uranium solution of chloride ion system were simultaneously removed with sodium sulfate by double salt precipitation method. The effects of sodium sulfate dosage, reaction temperature, reaction time and pH value on impurity removal were studied. The results show that the removal rate of iron, thorium and rare-earth is 99.62%, 99.42% and 98.27% respectively, and recovery rate of uranium is 99.87% under the optimum condition including Na2SO4 dosage of 160% of theoretical amount, reaction time of 2 h, reaction temperature of 95 ℃,and pH value of reaction system of 0.75—1.25. The method has the advantages of good impurity removal effect, low loss rate of uranium and easy separation. |
