Abstract:
One-step separation of copper and arsenic from black copper mud was carried out by ferrous sulfate roasting - water leaching process. The effects of iron-arsenic mole ratio (Fe/As), roasting temperature, roasting time and initial pH value of water leaching on the experimental results were investigated. The results show that arsenic leaching rate is 99% and copper leaching rate is 96% under the optimum conditions including roasting temperature of 400 ℃, Fe/As=0.3, roasting time of 120 min, water leaching temperature of 80 ℃, water leaching time of 60 min, water leaching liquid-solid ratio of 7 mL/g, and initial pH value of 4.5. According to the analysis results of XRD, the main components of arsenic slag are scorodite and iron oxide, which realizes the safe solidification and disposal of arsenic.
