Abstract:
The desalination treatment of high salt and difficult to degrade wastewater generated during the rare earth smelting process of recovering NdFeB waste by electrodialysis technology was conducted. The effects of the volume ratio of concentration chamber to dilution chamber, operating voltage, polar water concentration, flow rates of raw material and polar solution on desalting performance and changes of wastewater COD were studied. The results show that using electrodialysis technology, the desalination rate of wastewater is 93% above, the COD in the dilute room wastewater is degraded, while the COD in the concentrated room wastewater does not enriched, and the power consumption is 15.9 kWh/m3. It provides technical support for NdFeB waste smelting wastewater treatment.
