| Abstract: |
| Applying the red mud from domestic and foreign mines of a enterprise as the research object, by studying the effects of 7 physical filter aids and 5 chemical filter aids on water content in the red mud filter cake, solid waste XS and surfactant PL50 were selected as physical and chemical filter aids for dehydration and conditioning process of red mud, and the optimal addition amount was determined. Under the combined conditioning of solid waste XS and surfactant PL50, the domestic and foreign ore red mud were pressed for 20 min under the secondary pressing pressure of 1.32 MPa at room temperature and the water content of the filter cake dropped by 3.18% and 6.11% respectively. |
