| Abstract: |
| The lack of economically and environmentally friendly complete leaching processes poses a significant obstacle to the industrialization of hydrometallurgical lead recycling technologies. In order to address the challenges associated with high waste production and impurity removal in existing hydrometallurgical lead recycling methods, an innovative complete leaching process based on "sulfurization – desulfurization - methanesulfonic acid leaching" was proposed. By using SEM, XRD, and XPS to characterize the products of each stage, the reaction mechanism of each step in the proposed complete set of leaching process was preliminarily inferred. The lead recovery rate is as high as 96.2% after the test optimization of various stages of the complete set leaching process. The preliminary results of ICP-OES characterization show that the leaching process can effectively remove impurities from the lead paste, and the results of material balance calculations prove theoretically that it can reduce waste production. The lead methanesulfonate product obtained from this process exhibits broad potential applications, and on the whole, it has more industrialization potential than the existing lead recovery processes. |
