Abstract:
Waste metal is an important resource in material circulation and carbon emission reduction. The main waste metal resource trade data of various countries from 2010 to 2021 were selected to construct the complex global trade networks of waste resources and analyze the pattern evolution characteristics and national trade types. Meanwhile, China""s waste metal resource trade was studied, and its import trade market structure and key partners were analyzed. The following conclusions were obtained. The global trade relationships of waste metal resources are becoming closer and closer. The United States, China, India and Germany play an important role in global trade, but their control performance varies in different resource trades. China, Turkey and India are the main leading countries for the inflow of waste metal resources, while the United States, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates are the main leading countries for the outflow of waste metal resources with strong trade supply capacity of waste metal resources. The import trade structure of China""s waste metal resources is relatively diversified, and the market concentration is gradually decreasing, however it needs continuous attention. The Asian region gradually becomes the main choice of China""s waste metal resources import trade.
