Abstract:
Enameled copper wire is a typical organic-inorganic composite material composed of high-grade copper and organic paint film with micrometer-thick, which is mainly used for electromagnetic windings of motors. Waste enameled copper wire has become a significant secondary resource due to its high-grade copper content. Pyrolysis is a vital method for recycling waste enameled copper wires to obtain renewable copper. This article reviews the research progress on the pyrolysis mechanism of enameled copper wires, summarizes the existing pyrolysis technology characteristics and pyrolysis equipment types, analyzes the main problems in current research work and actual production, and proposes prospects for the future development of waste enameled copper wires recycling at the technical and equipment levels. The purpose of this paper is to provide certain reference information for the pyrolysis recycling of waste enameled copper wires.
