| Abstract: |
| The extraction of rubidium and cesium from brine resources is significant to the development of high-tech industry in China. However, the complex composition of the brine makes it difficult to separate rubidium and cesium from high concentrations of impurity ions. Prussian blue (FeHCF) and its analogs have excellent rubidium and cesium selectivity and are the mainstream materials for adsorbing rubidium and cesium. In this paper, the adsorption properties of Prussian blue (FeHCF) and four kinds of Prussian blue analogs for low concentration rubidium and cesium in high-salt brine were comparatively studied. FeHCF was selected for subsequent experiments because of its excellent adsorption performance and low reagent price. Subsequently, the effects of various factors on the adsorption behavior of FeHCF were investigated. Under optimized conditions, the adsorption efficiencies of rubidium and cesium are 94.4% and 99.4%, and the saturated adsorption capacities were 517.3 mg/L and 2.8 mg/L, respectively. Finally, the physicochemical properties of FeHCF before and after adsorption were analyzed, which verified the successful adsorption of rubidium. |
