| Abstract: |
| Honghaigou deposit is an important reserve resource for the base of kiloton uranium mine in Xinjiang, China. In order to establish a suitable leaching process for the development of the deposit, a "four-injection-one-extraction" scale acid in-situ leaching of uranium test was conducted based on previous laboratory research. The results show that both slightly acidic and low acidic leaching of the deposit are not feasible, and an acidification of 3.0—4.0 g/L and leaching of 7.0—7.5 g/L are suitable processes. The 300 mg/L dose of H2O2 can accelerate the leaching of uranium, but the low content of dissolved Fe limits the efficiency of the oxidant. Despite the low carbonate content of the deposit, the continuous increase of Ca2+ and SO42- in the solution is easy to form gypsum deposition and lead to decrease of extraction flow, which needs to be paid attention to in subsequent production. |
