| Abstract: |
| The simulation and industrial experiments related to changing the feeding method in the suspension smelting technology at China Copper Southeast Copper Co., Ltd., from the original "chute + rotary floating nozzle" to the "pneumatic chute + rotary floating nozzle" system were introduced. The theoretical research and practical experience in improving the feeding stability in suspension smelting were shared from weight-loss measurement system, feeding method of rotary floating nozzle, and key indicator changes. After the application of the "pneumatic chute + rotary floating nozzle" system in suspension smelting, the copper content of slag is reduced, the stability of matte grade is improved, and the dust rate is decreased, which lays a foundation for the long-term stable operation of smelting production. |
