| Abstract: |
| As an efficient liquid-liquid extraction equipment, pulse extraction tower is one of the important directions in the development of hydrometallurgical tower extraction equipment. In this paper, the development process of the pulse extraction tower was systematically reviewed, with emphasis on the research of the transfer process, the construction of mathematical model, and the application of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) in the development of the equipment. Firstly, the effects of operation and structural parameters on the hydrodynamic behavior and mass transfer efficiency within the pulsed extraction column were reviewed, and the regularities and influencing factors in the process of mass transfer and transmission capacity were revealed. On this basis, the application of CFD simulation and other computing techniques was introduced to further optimize the design and performance of the tower. Finally, the improvement scheme of the inner components and tower type of the pulse extraction tower were summarized, the future research direction and potential application scenarios were pointed out. The purpose is to provide a valuable reference for future research and application. |
