Abstract:
The comprehensive utilization of secondary copper resources is helpful to improve the situation of domestic copper resources shortage in China. The uncontrolled discharge of copper-containing wastewater not only causes serious damage to human beings, animals and plants, and the environment, but also is a serious waste of copper resources. Economic and efficient treatment of copper-containing wastewater can help to recycle wastewater resources and metal resources, which is crucial for the sustainable development of society. The main treatment technologies including precipitation, electrolysis, membrane separation, ion exchange and adsorption were reviewed. The mechanism, advantages and disadvantages, and application prospects of the corresponding technologies were analyzed. Based on this, the combined application process with multi-technology coupling is established and analyzed. It is emphasized that multi-technology combination is the main trend of treating copper-containing wastewater and even heavy metals in the future, which can realize the harmless disposal and resource utilization of copper-containing wastewater in a green and efficient way.
