| Abstract: |
| In copper flash smelting process, the application of pneumatic chute plays a key role in improving production efficiency and reducing energy consumption. Pneumatic chute uses air flow to promote material transmission, which has the advantages of high efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection. The pneumatic chute is mainly composed of box, fluidizing bottom plate, air supply valve group and instrument control, etc. The conveying medium is dry copper concentrate (moisture < 0.3%, particle size of 0.074 mm > 80%, density of 2.5 g/cm3). However, in practical applications, there are still some problems such as low transmission efficiency and easy plugging. Through theoretical experimental analysis and practical production feedback, the total flow rate was set at about 520 m3/h, the feed end flow was 280 m3/h, and the discharge end flow was 240 m3/h. After optimization, the transmission speed, energy consumption and plugging rate of the pneumatic chute have been significantly improved. Therefore, this study provides a theoretical basis and practical solution for the optimization of copper smelting pneumatic chute, which has important theoretical and practical significance. |
