Abstract:
A large amount of acidic wastewater is produced in the process of acid production from copper smelting flue gas, which is characterized by high copper and arsenic content and complex composition. At present, the treatment of this kind of wastewater usually adopts the method of sodium sulfide - lime - iron salt, by adding sodium sulfide or sodium hydrogen sulfide to precipitate the heavy metals in the form of sulfide, resulting in a large number of mixed hazardous wastes containing copper, arsenic, zinc, lead, etc. Based on the existing process innovation, the resource recovery technology of copper and arsenic stage vulcanization was studied. The innovative stage treatment process for copper and arsenic removal controls the different ORP values of the two stage vulcanization reactions according to the different electrode potentials of the copper and arsenic REDOX reactions, so that the copper sulfide and arsenic sulfide stage precipitation reduces the production of hazardous waste slag, and the copper sulfide slag is returned to the smelting system for mixing, realizing the recovery of copper resources in the wastewater.
