Abstract:
The on-site metallurgical materials are tested by sending samples at a fixed point, which has poor timeliness and high cost of detection data. The laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technology was used to rapidly detect the components of key elements in matte, tailings and copper concentrates. The results show that compared with the detection results of X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF) analyzer, the relative errors of Cu, Fe and SiO2 tested by LIBS are all less than 8%, and the relative errors of As and Sb are less than 13%. The detection results of LIBS and XRF have a good consistency. Through the rapid detection of copper material composition by LIBS, the accuracy of copper smelting process regulation is improved, the production cost is optimized, and strong support is provided for intelligent metallurgical construction.
