Abstract:
The aim of this study is to improve the leaching efficiency of zinc and germanium in high silicon and low germanium zinc oxide dust by introducing ultrasonic co-oxidant. Hydrogen peroxide was used as the oxidizer. The initial sulfuric acid concentration, liquid-solid ratio, molar concentration ratio of H?O? to H?SO?, temperature, and ultrasonic power were optimized. The results showed that when the initial concentration of sulfuric acid was 1.8 M, the concentration ratio of hydrogen peroxide to sulfuric acid was 1:1, the liquid-solid mass ratio was 7, the leaching time was 60 min, the leaching temperature was 70 ℃, and the ultrasonic power was 300 W, the leaching rates of zinc and germanium reached the highest value, and the leaching rates of zinc and germanium were 98.16% and 86.14%, respectively. Compared with the conventional process without ultrasonic and hydrogen peroxide under the same conditions, the leaching rates of the two methods are increased by 14.66% and 17.37% respectively. In addition, the study also analyzed the reaction mechanism in the leaching process, which provided a theoretical basis for the subsequent process optimization.
