| Abstract: |
| After the transformation of the 460 kt/a electrolytic copper flash furnace at Jinlong Copper Co., Ltd., the flash furnace can maintain a stable feeding rate at 180 t/h above. The continuous high load feeding rates has led to the problems of heat balance, copper balance, flue gas balance, and impurity balance in the smelting system after internal circulation of materials. The transformation of pyrometallurgical system and control of production made by Jinlong Copper Co., Ltd., were briefly described. After the transformation, the production capacity of 560 kt/a anode copper and 460 kt/a electric copper in the pyrometallurgical process system is achieved, and the operation rate of the flash furnace remains above 99%. |
