Abstract:
The deep reduction and smelting of black copper matte was carried out by using the black copper matte produced by the reverberatory furnace of a factory as raw material, carbon powder as reducing agent, and silica as slag making agent. The results show that tin in black copper matte exists in the form of tin dioxide and sodium stannate. Under the suitable smelting temperature, adding appropriate amount of silicon dioxide and carbon powder can achieve deep reduction and efficient recovery of tin in black copper matte. The recovery rate of tin can reach 97.32%, the tin content of reduced slag is about 0.08%, and the tin content in lead-tin alloy can reach 18.9%. The optimal experimental conditions are as follows: reduction melting temperature of 1 200 ℃, melting time of 60 minutes, carbon powder addition of 16%, and silicon dioxide addition of 2%.
