Abstract:
      The research progress on key equipment and process optimization of chemical absorption carbon capture with the aim of reducing energy consumption and improving economic benefits were reviewed. On the one hand, the research progress of chemical absorption process coupled with other processes such as membrane separation and adsorption, as well as with other industrial processes such as industrial solid waste and liquid waste treatment, renewable energy utilization and electrochemistry was summarized. On the other hand, the optimization research status of two key core equipment of carbon capture, absorption tower and desorption tower, was analyzed in detail. In order to provide new ideas for industrial scale efficient green carbon capture, help China achieve its strategic emission reduction goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, and promote green and circular development in a low-carbon economy.
